What Our Merch does

Our Merch provides software and equipment that live music venues use to sell touring artists' merchandise at shows: a till, stock counts, card payments and settlement statements.

Who sells

When you buy merchandise at a show, you buy it from the artist. The venue sells it as the artist's agent, and the payment is taken on the venue's own payment account, processed by Stripe. Our Merch is not the seller of the goods.

Venues and artists

• Splits are agreed per show: after card fees, 85% to the artist, 7.5% plus VAT to the venue, and 7.5% to Our Merch.
• Stock is counted in and counted out at each show and confirmed by both the artist and the venue. Confirmed counts cannot be changed.
• The artist is responsible for the goods, their description and any VAT due on their sales. The venue and Our Merch act as agent.
• Venues complete Stripe's identity checks and accept Stripe's connected account terms.
